New Year Life Planner

As we approach the end of this year and are about to begin a new year, the slate is clean.  Everything is starting over again.  You have another year of making new choices and correcting bad choices previously made.  You have a another year of creating good habits and getting rid of habits that destroy you and those around you.  You have another year to change who you are into who you want to be.  You have a new year to think and plan and work toward goals, values and priorities in your lives.  Have you figured out what your priorities are yet?
Take the time today to do a “LIFE” Planner for this year.  Number from what is most important to least important.  Then underneath those titles, do subtitles of what things you do to fulfill that priority in your life.
For example:  Many Christians will put God as #1.  Underneath God, they will put things that they can do to keep God #1 in their lives.  For instance:  Strengthening their relationship and doing ministries.  Then, make a list of the goals that you set for yourself to complete these values and priorities.  You can even go deeper levels by planning how to accomplish those steps written... like, you may need to recalculate your schedule for each day to fit in 30 minutes for prayer and bible reading... or re-plan your weekly to fit in doing a ministry.
The following below is an example of a beginning "LIFE" Planner.  Make your own this week, before the new year, so that you are prepared for next year.

There are many goals… NOT new year resolutions… but GOALS that we all have.  We just keep them in our heads instead of on paper.  These are your values and this "LIFE" Planner will prioritize it to assist you to accomplish the goals that you have set for yourself.  Then at the end of next year you can look back at this and see how far you have come.  You will see the things that you have accomplished and those things that still need tweaking.  It is not stone so it can be changed as things change.  It is just a great visual to keep you on track.
God has a lot of plans, challenges, and blessings for you this year.  We, of course, want to follow what His plans are.  However, it is impossible to know what God’s plans for you are unless you take time to be with Him, time to listen to His leading and then time to fulfill what He has shown you.
How do you plan next year to make your life different from this year?…  Better than this year?…  Strengthened more than this year?...  More financially secure than this year?  What do you want for yourself and your family?
Think about it and take the time to put it into practice today.  Begin that by first sitting down with your family and learning what each one wants to accomplish in this year, then create a family and a personal “LIFE” Planner for this year.  Then lift it up in prayer to God and listen and work toward His leading in it.

God says TO YOU in Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Prepare for that hope and future today by making your own "LIFE" Planner and then pray about it and then walk and live in it to the fullest!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
